Celebration at Mcothoyi High School
Mcothoyi High School hosted a special day to honor students and teachers for their outstanding efforts throughout the year. The event, beautifully organized by the school, featured esteemed guests who added to its significance. Principal Ms. Mkhize expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who worked tirelessly since the beginning of the year.

Empowering Women Through Driving Skills
On this day, our Chairperson, Mr. Busani Luthuli, launched a driving program for women in the Mnini community. A total of 8 women have successfully advanced to the second phase of the program, moving from obtaining their learner's licenses on the previos month to now beginning practical driving lessons for a Code 10 license.

UMnini Community Trust Visits Cultural Leaders Led by Chairperson Mr. Busani Luthuli, UMnini Community Trust visited the esteemed women of Mnini who oversee the cultural rite of passage for young maidens. The leaders, known for their wisdom and guidance, presented requests related to the upcoming journey for the maidens attending the Royal Reed Dance in Nongoma. This cultural event, took place on the 13th of September 2024, we saw the maidens presenting their reeds to the Zulu King in a celebration of tradition and heritage.

UMnini Diski Tournament at eMagabheni Sports Ground
The tournament, proudly sponsored by Umnini Community Trust, was a resounding success! Featuring four divisions, the event provided brand-new kits and soccer balls 🤩🤩🤩🤩. A big thank you to our Portfolio Chair, Mr. Sbusiso Mkhize, for coordinating the tournament, and to our Chairperson, Mr. Busani Luthuli, for prioritizing sports development 🙏🙏🙏.
